Flexsource currently have an opportunity for a Full time Sous Chef to join the team based in Garrettstown, Co. Cork (15 min drive from Kinsale Co. Cork).
My Client is a lovely family owned restaurant currently with 1 chef working on board and they are looking to expand their team!
Key Requirements:
- The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience at Sous Chef level
- You will be an excellent team player and have experience in a fast-paced environment
- HACCP qualified
- Previous Customer Service experience is an advantage
- Flexibility with working hours
- Polite and professional manner
- Excellent financial skills
- Understand wages, rosters, stock control, team management, training and cost control management
- Manual Handling certificate
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all food production is in line with high food standards
- Maintaining kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities
- Overseeing and organizing kitchen stock and ingredients
- Working effectively within the Kitchen Team to ensure high customer service standards
- Follow all health & hygiene standards.
- Managing food and product ordering by keeping detailed records
- Minimising waste, improving waste reduction
- Managing budgetary concerns
Pay rate: €15.00ph
40 hours / week
