Sous Chef (Co.Cork)

Flexsource currently have an opportunity for a Full time Sous Chef to join the team based in Garrettstown, Co. Cork (15 min drive from Kinsale Co. Cork).

My Client is a lovely family owned restaurant currently with 1 chef working on board and they are looking to expand their team!

 

Key Requirements:

  • The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience at Sous Chef level
  • You will be an excellent team player and have experience in a fast-paced environment
  • HACCP qualified
  • Previous Customer Service experience is an advantage
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Polite and professional manner
  • Excellent financial skills
  • Understand wages, rosters, stock control, team management, training and cost control management
  • Manual Handling certificate

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all food production is in line with high food standards
  • Maintaining kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities
  • Overseeing and organizing kitchen stock and ingredients
  • Working effectively within the Kitchen Team to ensure high customer service standards
  • Follow all health & hygiene standards.
  • Managing food and product ordering by keeping detailed records
  • Minimising waste, improving waste reduction
  • Managing budgetary concerns

 

Pay rate: €15.00ph

40 hours / week
