I am currently looking for experienced Operations Manager to join market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of modular buildings, and a pioneer of advanced offsite construction.

 

The purpose of this role is to manage the labour and resource, ensuring effective cost control, meeting/improving upon budgeted costs, and working within agreed timescales to achieve On Time, On Budget pledge. To manage Operations and Electrical Supervisors. Great opportunity for ambitious and responsible individual for making important strategy and policy decisions to help the organization meet its goals.

Accountabilities for this role:

 

·       Ensure that the refurbishment of Portakabin products is to the standard required and costs are within established parameters.

·       Regularly review, analyze and record costs to maximize profitability for all sites responsible for.

·       Ensure H&S and quality standards and processes are maintained.

·       Ensure enough sub-contract labour is available when required, ensuring that quality standards are maintained, costs controlled and reviewed as appropriate.

·       Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company procedure/Policies relating to Health and Safety.

·       Accurately forecast refurb and fit out spends monthly.

·       Liaise with the commercial, projects, and works team to ensure work in completed within agreed timescales and meeting required quality standards.

·       Effectively use internal systems (SAP) to identify issues, record and analyze costs.

·       Lead, develop and motivate team, carrying out regular meaningful conversations with all direct reports

Qualified skilled background
Good number of numeracy
IT literate
Full Irish Driving Licence
Education to Junior Cert Level desirable

Previous Experience:

Practical operational experience within a project co-ordination role or supervision role of a multi-trade environment
Qualified skilled background
Experience in leading, developing, and motivating staff
