Job Title: Food Production Manager

Duties:

  • A leader to oversee the running of a large central production kitchen directing a large team of over 50 staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Travelling to meet with key stakeholders, franchises and business leader to gain insights
  • Introduce new systems as necessary to modernise and continuously improve production facilities and processes to maximise efficiencies
  • Oversee outputs of the central production kitchen
  • Devise and deliver the kitchen operation related policies (SOPs) to increase capacity and maximise productivity
  • Lead on the purchase of the highest quality fresh and dry food ingredients.
  • Oversee the sourcing and purchase of food and non-food items, including importation of goods from EU and non-EU countries.
  • Deliver against agreed targets on food cost and wage targets
  • Align all new food production, kitchen innovation or process ideation around the brand USPs
  • Ensure compliance with all legislation on allergens
  • Partner successfully with the CFO and CEO for budget forecasting, projections, stock management and reporting to investors.
  • Review food and labours costs regularly and report back to the business.

  • Technology Collaborate with CFO, GM UK, HOM, CMO on the digital transformation of the business
  • Experience with legacy systems and knowledge of how to integrate new technologies and systems will be vital to the success of this new step.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Extensive central production and supply chain management experience
  • Commercial leadership skills required
  • Strong people management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of budgets and costings from farm to fork
  • HACCP Level 3 qualification and maintain HACCP systems
