Due to continued business growth and some recent new product additions to the company portfolio, they are now looking to recruit 2 highly accomplished and skilled Shift Production Managers on perm contracts.

Both Production Shift Manager roles are on a 24/7 shift pattern and come with market leading salaries, 33% shift premiums as well as excellent comp and benefits including Bonus, Private Healthcare, Pension etc…

The Shift Manager is responsible for Product manufacturing from Dispensing, Blending, Fill/Seal, Device Assembly and Packing on their shift pattern or to support the manufacture and packaging of product while on days.

The Shift Manager will work across functions to ensure that products meet or exceed all Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People targets.

You will manage the shift in accordance with the EHS guidelines as well as ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), the (HPRA Health Product Regulatory Authority) and US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory bodies.

Ownership to Ensure effective training for all team members.

AS the Shift Manger, you will Monitor, record, display and drive Key Performance Indicators for the Shift and the function, including but not limited to; Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Manufacturing Batch RFT.

Execute the Performance Management process for your Shift Team including the effective completion of key milestones such as performance reviews and employee development.

Ensure that absence is noted and tackled where appropriate and that RTW meetings are completed to good effect.

Recognise and reward good performance and flexibility demonstrated by team members and address any under-performance issues in a proactive manner.

Use all of the resources available on the shift to maximum effect to meet targets, to address and resolve problems.

Communicate effectively within the Manufacturing leadership team and to supporting functions ensuring the appropriate prioritisation of issues and opportunities.

Maintain a high standard of 6S and Housekeeping in all Manufacturing areas.

Drive Improvements through use of Lean Manufacturing and OE Tools

Complete any other duties assigned by Manufacturing Director

The Minimum Qualifications For This Role Are

3rd Level Qualification in a Science/Technical Discipline required or equivalent work experience.

The successful shift Production Managers will above all be excellent communicators and have the ability to provide solid leadership and director to a team of high performing production staff.

Demonstrated people management experience as a Supervisor or Manager ideally within the Pharmaceutical Industry or a highly regulated manufacturing industry.

Experience with High-Volume Automated Assembly and/or Packaging manufacturing processes as well as experience of Dispensing, Blending and Filling of Dry Powder would be an advantage.

Experience with Dry Powder Inhalation processes is desirable.

Metrics focused with excellent team building skills driving results through people.

Positive attitude with strong leadership, communication, organization and analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to set and implement standards for manufacturing shift teams on performance, attendance, GMP standards, documentation, etc.

Resilient with an appetite for learning and progression.

Proven ability to manage performance and to develop team members.

Experience in the use of methodical approaches to problem solving and Continuous Improvement initiative
