We are currently recruiting exclusively for a client of ours – a global leader in the Power Supply industry. 

They have a significant operation here in Ireland and are the main players in the UPS and Air Con servicing sector to the Data Centre businesses nationwide.

 The latest job opportunity here is for a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer.

 The client is offering a base salary of 47K depending on experience + company vehicle, pension, healthcare, call out pay, overtime, phone, lap top, company vehicle etc. It’s an opportunity to come on board as an engineer with a newly established team that will continue to grow in numbers in 2018. SUMMARY

the Refrigeration Engineer will be Responsible for maintenance, emergency repairs and commissioning of Air Conditioning products, as well as other contracted systems. Required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, salesmen, distributors, and others within the area. Maintain continuous communications with Call Control and the department Manager 

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

 

Ø Respond, in a professional manner, to all assigned service calls while on duty.

Ø Perform all work in a safe manner and in accordance with established company safety policy.

Ø Perform all work using good working practice and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to assigned task.

Ø Ensure spare parts are properly requested by using established procedures.

Ø Assist in ensuring that the planned maintenance completion rate is maintained

Ø Assist call control to schedule, plan and complete any works as required, using established work flow procedures.

Ø Keep call control informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.

Ø Maintain the accuracy of the customer site asset list listing by reporting errors

Ø Submit job reports and time sheets in a timely, accurate and complete manner

Ø Report sales or service leads to the proper department via the correct process.

Ø Support company vision and management decisions

Ø Use email and other office based programmes.

Ø Ensure that all ISO agreed processes are followed.

Ø As a User, comply with the Company’s ITC policy.

Ø Keep company vehicle clean and properly maintained.

Ø You will be expected to look after all tooling and company property issued to enable the tasks to be carried out.

Ø Work as part of the service team.

Ø Follow up and follow through with any and all assigned tasks.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Ø NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Ø City in Guilds 2078 or 2079 in Refrigerant Safe Handling, Subscribed to ACRIB.

Ø Computer Literate.

Ø Previous environmental service experience essential

Ø Excellent customer service skills, presentable and professional at all time.

Ø Self-starter, ability to effective plan , organise, and manage time effectively

Ø Full valid driving license.

 

 

Extra info 

Ø May be required to travel travel abroad from time to time especially to the UK adn italy for an intensive initial training programme.

Ø Extensive Product training is provided.

Ø All tooling provided this will also include phone, & lap top.
