Cpl are working with our client partner to support them with the recruitment for 8 Chemical Process Operators for recently built distribution and logistics site in Dublin 15.
The company themselves are a highly respected Irish brand name in the distribution of manufacturing and industrial grade Chemicals and Solvents for sale and supply to the Semi-conductor, Pharma, Biopharma, Med-Dev and Food and Beverage industries.
They work in partnership with some of the worlds largest companies and are at the forefront of the chemical management and distribution industry since 1992, operating from 3 different sites in North and West Dublin
Their sites include chemical storage and distribution warehouses, while the Dublin 15 site is a dedicated UPPER TIER SEVESO chemical management facility.
The principal activity on each site is the handling, storage and distribution of chemicals.
Due to a large-scale increase in business (with further increases in 2023) they are now seeking to recruit 8 new perm hires for the Chemical Process and distribution team.
Process / distribution Operator Description:
All distribution processes are manufacturing is carried out in a Clean Room environment to ISO 13485 regulations and standards.
Preparation and distribution of Chemical based medical products as per SOP
The job requires the operator to be flexible and have the ability to maintain focus whilst under pressure.
Ideally the candidates will be coming from either a Warehouse, Logistics or Manufacturing background where there has been an element of Regulated / controlled environments in place.
If you have worked in an industry where Hazardous Materials are in place, and you have received appropriate Haz Chem training then this will a distinct advantage.
Ideally you will be coming from a high-volume manufacturing or distribution background with a minimum of 2 years direct experience.
In the role as Chemical distribution Operative, you will be able to multitask and work on own initiative
Receipt and inspection of raw materials for use in final manufacture
Ensure compliance of operations with relevant regulations and standards associated with cGMP including data integrity, ISO 14001, EMAS, Health & Safety Legislation and Environmental Legislation.
Timely and comprehensive reporting of all hazardous occurrences, incidents, deviations & abnormal occurrences.
Ensure compliance of operations with all site standards, policies and procedures.Knowledge of these standards must be kept up to date using site training programs
Ensure that the plants are operated to optimum efficiency.
Pick, inspect and load customer orders while adhering to strict Safety and Quality requirements
Ensure that all load preparations are carried out to the highest standard and that all pre-delivery checks are carried out in full
Ensure all loading and unloading of product is carried out in a safe and timely manner, and all pre-checks are carried out prior to loading or unloading
Inspect all materials at Goods In, ensuring that all material complies with our Safety & Quality requirements
Be familiar with the Warehouse Management System (WMS) (scanners, printers) for Picking and Processing Orders
Ensure that strict Inventory Control Techniques are adhered to and ensure all material is scanned in and out correctly
Check inbound load paperwork accompanying deliveries ensuring all details are correct
Ensure that all relevant operational documentation is completed accurately and in full at all times
Work with and support the Warehouse Administrators on a daily basis
At all times ensure every attempt is made to maintain the highest standards of Safety and Housekeeping in the Warehouse and Yard and that these areas are left in good condition at the end of every working day
Ensure that all materials that are stored in the racking system are secured, tidy and organised and segregated as per regulations HSG71
Participate in the Inventory Control- Cycle Counting Procedure as required
Operate safely and correctly all Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and their attachments. Ensuring all checks are carried out and documented prior to working, and any defects are reported to your supervisor
Follow all applicable company policies/procedures/processes
Report any near misses/accidents/incidents as required by the company Health & Safety procedures
Follow all reasonable instructions issued to you from your supervisor and/or member of the management team
Ensure product safety, quality and legality is maintained
Attend and complete all scheduled applicable Training as required
Respond to all Read & Understand Training requests by the deadlines issued
