Experienced Van Driver

Job Description; 

Flexsource are currently recruiting for Experienced Van Driver role for our client a leader provider of range of products from doors to floors, roofs to windows and outdoor surface solutions, right through to our patented roofing systems and extensions, based in Baldoyle, Co. Dublin.

This position involves detailed preparation, interacting with customers, and operating a vehicle safely in compliance with business and traffic laws. This is a great chance to advance and pursue additional career development, which the company will support.

Job Title; Van Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport goods to several locations within the assigned delivery region in a safely and timely manner.
• Load and unload the company van.
• Modify routes in response to traffic, weather, and other events.
• Respond to client inquiries, record damages, and address any delivery concerns.
• Report any maintenance problems or malfunctions.
• Verify that all delivery documentation, including delivery notes and any inconsistencies, is completed appropriately.
• Use a handheld device / system to log deliveries and capture electronic signatures when required.
• Wear provided personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• Comply with all applicable driving regulations and corporate policies.
• Any further ad hoc duties as required.

Key Requirements; 

• Being Punctual & Reliable
• Having some form of Multi Drop experience
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Full Clean B licence is required
• Manual handling is an advantage but training can be provided

Hours; 

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 / 8:30 – 16:00 / 17:00

Pay;

• €35,000 per year
