Material Handler/ Process operator

My client in Cork is looking to expand their current operation and have an open requirement for Material Handlers to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an organised & motivated person interested in developing their skill sets to join an exceptional team within rapidly growing business.  

Essential Job Duties:

  • Carrying out all duties assigned in an efficient and quality conscious manner
  • Full adherence to all relevant work instructions, procedures and companies policies
  • Duties include various roles Quality, Prepping Area ,Mixer, Packing, Palletiser, Production, Shipping as per SOP’s.
  • Prepping and Dispensing ingredients and material per work instructions in advance for blending.
  • Assisting supervisors, team leaders and fellow work colleagues  in achieving daily targets
  • Loading Trucks for different orders and making sure load is secure and proper paperwork
  • Placing of ingredients into an industrial mixer where product is processed for packing.
  • Monitors quality against set standards detecting abnormalities quickly and label items for delivery.
  • Strictly comply with all health and safety requirements making sure hazardous materials are used by operators in a safe  manner by using appropriate P.P.E. and highlight any issues to the supervisor and safety officer immediately.
  • Making sure that the department is a safe and a clean place per 5S standards at all times for your colleagues to carry out their duties
  • Strictly comply with all GMP and health and safety requirements and highlight any issues to the safety officer immediately
  • Part of Health and Safety committee responsible for completion of weekly Behavior Based Safety audits.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    • Fit to work in a cleanroom environment
    • Forklift licence is desirable
    • Good attention to detail
    • Hardworking, honest with strong desire to succeed
    • Team player
    • Ability to work all production shifts (morning and evening)

    Working hours:

    Monday- Friday, 39 hours, morning and evening shifts

    18.16 € per hour/OT available @1.5 and 2.00
