Flexsource are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter, for full time, permanent position for our client based in Dublin 4.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on plant mechanical and electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, maintenance and repair work as assigned
- Perform welding repairs i.e. repair welded piping
- Perform installation using steel plate and work platforms
- Inspect, adjust, rebuild, laser align, balance and level pumps, fans and other machinery
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, hydraulic pneumatic and electrical issues
- Perform other duties when required
- Work closely with the Lead Mechanic
- Complete maintenance records
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar role
- Welding, electrical or mechanical qualification would be an advantage
- Good mathematical skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to be ‘On call’ and work overtime when required
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
Benefits:
- €45.000 - €50.000 per annum (DOE)
