Flexsource are currently recruiting a Sous Chef for our client based in Killarney.

Duties:

Provide guests with high standard, freshly prepared dishes with a 5 star setting

Introduce creative recipes to Head Chef for specific guest requirements

Ability to produce 5 star dining quality dishes

Involved in the design of the seasonal menus

Assist the Head Chef in the running of a busy kitchen

Managing food purchasing, storage, pricing and budgeting

Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times

Requirements:

A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Senior Chef de Partie

Level 7 Degree in Culinary arts or Equivalent qualification

HACCP qualified Level 1&2

Have to have adequate knowledge in regards to all allergens

Ability to work under pressure

Banqueting experience

Supervisory and communication skills needed for this role

Knowledge in up to date food technology and dining trends

Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook desirable
