Duties:
- Ensures the quality of the parts produced by inspecting parts visually and through measuring devices; records measurement information and alerts appropriate personnel of any deviations from the customer specification or part print.
- Packages the parts according to customer specification and indicates the status of the part (Accept/Reject) according to proper procedure and specifications; Places finished product in correct location.
- Completes machine report on a daily basis; records machine shot counts, press scrap, machine cycle time and daily production.
- Uses and understands statistical process control; monitors the quality of the product through SPC, including the input of data into the computer.
- Checks part counts by weighing them; able to set the scale and verify scale accuracy.
- Ensures that the correct raw materials are being used at each molding machine; ensures raw material is staged/ready for next shift
- Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly manner by practicing good housekeeping.
- Performs additional duties at the request of the direct supervisor.
- Maintains methods/procedures and all supporting documentation to meet the requirements of Quality Systems ISO9001:2000 / ISO 13485 and Environmental Management Systems ISO14001
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Must have previous experience working in a controlled clean room environment and willing to work within one again. E.G. Wearing gown, cap and relevant personal protective equipment.
- Must be willing to work on a 4 shift basis, the company will operate 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
- Must have good verbal reasoning, numerate ability, and mechanical aptitude skills.
- Must have good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of computers
- GMP training desirable

- This role involves night shifts as well as days.
- Candidates must be available to work on a 4 cycle shift pattern

Salary: €11.90 per hour including shift allowance
Job Description:
- Working to GMP standards in a busy pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Running production lines in compression and coating
- Dispensing of active ingredients
- Operating Fluid Bed Dryers
- Manufacturing of liquid drops
- Creation of Batch Records and SOP Writing
- Initially working on days, this role is likely to move on to 2 cycle shift pattern with a possiblity of 3 or 4 cycle in the future. The successful candidate will be required to be flexible to work on days or shift in line with business needs.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing experience in an FDA regulated environment in the following areas:
- Compression
- Coating,
- Dispensing,
- Liquid drops
- Fluid bed dryer
- Previous experience in creation of Batch Records and SOP writing
- 3rd level qualification in addition to this experience would be desirable
Salary: €30,000 + and Shift Allowance when applicable
Job Description
- Carry out production duties as directed in the assigned area of manufacturing and/or packaging
- Carry out all production operations in the assigned area in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Carry out all production operations in the assigned area as directed by the relevant Batch Manufacturing or Packaging records (BMRs or BPRs)
- Assist as a member of the Production team, towards the delivery of production output targets and quality levels on schedule
- Complete all documentation relating to production activities as required in a timely fashion. Documentation includes BMRs, BPRs, Area Status Logbooks, Equipment Logbooks, Batch Labels and In-Process test reports
- Immediately notify the Area Supervisor or Team Leader of any deviation from SOPs and/or deviations in the standard production process
- Ask if in doubt about any particular practice or unusual finding
- Maintain the designated place of work in a clean and tidy state at all times during production activities
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned in the Production Department
- Participate in all training
- To adhere fully to all safety policies, procedures and regulations
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical packaging role.
Flexibility to work on days initially and move to shift work if required on a short term contract
Salary: €13.55 per hour plus shift allowance
