Cpl’s largest corporate client faced significant challenges in recruiting a substantial number of Process Maintenance Technicians for their facility in Limerick. To address this issue, they engaged Flexsource International to extend their recruitment efforts across the EU and beyond. Our office in Romania spearheaded an EU-wide search while simultaneously conducting an in-depth analysis of the required skills outside the EU to identify potential resources.

Through rigorous search and verification processes, Flexsource International identified several countries both within and outside the EU that had a sufficient pool of skilled candidates. This allowed us to develop a customized recruitment campaign tailored to each specific target area. We established a pool of potential candidates in each region and engaged with them to screen, test, and verify their qualifications and experience. This comprehensive process resulted in a shortlist of pre-screened candidates for our client to interview.

Flexsource International provided full transparency by loading all candidate details onto a single-view portal for our client. This portal included comprehensive information on qualifications, verifications, prior work experience, and availability, enabling our client to make informed decisions swiftly. Our client then scheduled online mechanical reasoning assessments for the shortlisted candidates, followed by digital interviews for those who were successful.

This extensive recruitment campaign generated over 500 applications. Through our customized evaluation process, we narrowed this down to 140 suitable candidates for assessment. From this group, 99 digital interviews were conducted, resulting in 46 job offers, of which 34 were accepted. The majority of these candidates required work permits, a process with which Flexsource International is highly experienced. We provided guidance and support throughout the permit application process, leveraging our expertise to navigate the regulatory landscape efficiently. With the government's streamlined work permit and visa requirements, the first candidates received their permits within an eight-week period.

Flexsource International thoroughly explained relocation and cost of living considerations to all candidates before acceptance, ensuring complete transparency and disclosure. This included details about the Family Reunification program, where relevant. We provided factual statistics and hard copies of current information, along with relevant website resources, so candidates could independently verify the cost of living information.

To accommodate induction capacities and allow the business time to integrate the new hires into their processes and procedures, our client staggered the arrivals of the candidates. Upon their arrival at Dublin Airport, Flexsource International welcomed the candidates and arranged safe passage directly to Limerick. We also provided an orientation of Limerick and assisted with opening bank accounts, scheduling PPSN appointments, GNIB registrations where applicable, and sourcing suitable cell phone contracts.

Our client is highly satisfied with the role played by Flexsource International and holds these candidates in high regard. They have all integrated well into life in Ireland, contributing effectively to the client’s operations. This successful recruitment project is another testament to the expertise and dedication of Flexsource International.
